About Me

Hi, I'm Stefania Tangredi!
I am an aspiring kindergarten/elementary teacher; and second year education student at McGill University. I have a passion for educating young hearts and minds. My hobbies include reading, dancing, writing, and gift giving. I hope to share many gifts in the classroom, including academic knowledge, care, and inclusivity. I hope to provide children with a space to grow and develop, without feeling insecure or worried about making mistakes.
Over the past ten years I completed several hours of volunteer work within the education system. I had the opportunity to tutor children in math and language arts in the grade three and four classroom. Throughout the past three years I have started working in childcare, teaching dance classes to children between the ages of two and eight years old. I have also been a summer camp monitor over the past two summers. These experiences have sparked my love for teaching, and research on inclusive education. My goal is not only to teach academia, but inspire children to pursue a path which they seek fulfilling. To me, true teachers teach from the heart, not only from the book. After completing my first field experience I am even more eager to pursue my future career as a teacher. Welcome to my journey, join me in discovering, evolving, and improving my teaching philosophy.
